Meet Ariel

"Hi, I’m Ariel—and somehow I went from helping out to teaching half the team how to throw."

Ariel Faeth

(yes, that's really what he wanted to be called)
HEAD HUMAN TRAINER

Ariel didn’t exactly apply for the job—he got roped into it. One minute he was doing a favor, and the next he was on the road, throwing discs, and teaching Aim High Canines' most chaotic performers (human and canine) how to hit their mark.

With a background in tech and a lifelong love of animals, Ariel brings calm to high-pressure moments and just the right amount of sarcasm to everything else. He’s the guy who’ll fix the sound system, rewire the trailer lights, and still have time to help you land your first trick throw with unsettling accuracy.

Since showing up, Ariel has taught nearly every Aim High Canines team member how to throw better—including the one who’s supposedly in charge. Not that he brags about it (who are we kidding of course he does). Whether it's mid-show chaos or late-night fidget sessions, he has an uncanny ability to break down complicated throws into teachable moments—usually followed by a smirk and a “you’re welcome."

Known for his dry humor, unnervingly accurate throws, and terrifying aim, Ariel brings a grounded presence to our high energy team. He's calm when the dogs are wild, focused when the schedule falls apart, and always down to learn something new-just don't expect him to admit he's enjoying it.

He claims to be here “just for the dogs,” but we’ve seen the way he plans and executes routines with laser precision-like it's a work of art. We’re not buying it. The guy who once made fun of disc nerds now is one, and honestly? He’s better at it than most. Somewhere between mocking freestyle videos and mastering his own trick throws, he crossed over. These days, he’s not just part of the show—he’s the one quietly raising the bar.

Special skills:

-Late night long drives

-Teaching trick throws mid chaos

-Getting roped into more than he signed up for...and showing up anyway.
